You do not have to use the services of a CMC to make a claim. You can complain to your lender, bank or provider yourself.
If unsuccessful you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) for free within 6 months
of receiving a final response from the company. If you’ve been scammed, you can contact your bank or payment provider and
report the incident. You can also report fraud to Action Fraud. Impakt Claims provides a free eligibility check to help you
understand potential routes and next steps.
Impakt Claims does not charge customers for its free eligibility check service.
In successful cases where a cash refund is obtained, The Claims Experts Ltd charge a success fee of between 18% and 36%
(including VAT).
You may still cancel your claim after the 14-day cooling-off period, however a success fee will still be charged for any
cash refund resulting from a claim already submitted.
